This week the Indian Valley Campus (IVC) Library highlighted Banned Books Week, September 25 - October 1, with a display of library books that have been banned, censored, or challenged at some point somewhere in the United States. The display includes The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, Ulysses by James Joyce, It's Perfectly Normal: A Book about Changing Bodies, Growing Up, Sex and Sexual Health by Robie H. Harris, and The Holy Bible. The display was created by new College of Marin Library staff member Amber Fonteno. Celebrate intellectual freedom by checking out the American Library Association's Ten Most Frequently Challenged Books of 2015, re-reading your favorite banned book, or, best of all, by visiting theĀ College of Marin Library in person or online. The display will be up through the end of October.
