Children at IVC Study Local Lizards

December 13th, 2016 - 12:05pm

Children at College of Marin's Indian Valley Campus Child Development Center have been conducting a study of the local Western Fence Lizard. The children felt it was important to identify some of the lizard habitats they have discovered on their adventures around campus. Part of their lizard investigation included creating signs, which are located near Building 12 and on the special jumping stumps between Buildings 17 and 18. The children were very enthusiastic as they worked on this project and wanted to convey some of what they have learned to their many friends at the College. Feedback for the children is welcome. Please email Lori Moraca and it will be shared with the children.
