COM Environmental Action Club Hosts Community Conversation with 350Marin

College of Marin's Environmental Action Club with 350Marin is sponsoring a community conversation on Friday, September 30, at the Kentfield Campus. The topic is "Invest in Your Future: Divest from the Past! What You Can Do to Move Past Fossil Fuels." Guest speakers include Brett Fleishman, senior global analyst at 350.org and local investment experts Patrick Costello and Kelly Jones. The event also features a roundtable discussion with Morissa Zuckerman, Fossil Fuel Divestment Student Network; Emily Lemmerman and Zhanpei Fang, Fossil Free Stanford; and Yin Htin, Fossil Free SFSU. Refreshments served at 6:30 p.m., followed by guest speakers and roundtable discussion. Event is free for students; $10 donation is requested for non-student admission. For more information contact Joe Mueller at (415) 485-9537.
