Community Ed Instructor Chosen to Present at Conference in Texas

Community Education Instructor David Sandri, CSW, WLS, WSET Certified-Advanced, has been chosen to be a presenter at the Texas Wine and Grape Growers Association (TWGGA) annual conference, this coming February in San Marcos, Texas. His presentation will focus on regulatory issues for wineries wanting to sell out of their home states, both to distributors and direct-to-consumer.

Not only is Texas home to well over 200 wineries, but it is producing wines of great quality, receiving awards in competition across the nation.

David has been in the wine industry for over 26 years. He has been teaching for COM Community Education since Fall, 2012, as well as being a regular lecturer for the Sonoma State University Wine Business Institute. In addition, he has given presentations on various aspects of wine, including at CIA-Greystone, Southern Oregon Wine Institute, VESTA (Viticulture and Enology Technology and Science Alliance).
