The Marin County Office of Education, in collaboration with Canal Alliance and 10,000 Degrees, present a free workshop on February 15, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on legal context and resources for immigrant students and their families. Canal Alliance Senior Attorney Alyssa Simpson and Director of Immigration Legal Services, Lucia Martel-Dow will provide a legal overview of immigration laws including:
- Potential changes to DACA
- Common issues and concerns for students and their families
- Possible changes on the horizon
- Know your rights information
