I am deeply saddened to share with you that Gaylene Urquhart passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016, after battling a long illness. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family and listening to her favorite music. Gaylene began her College of Marin career in 1990 as a clerk in Reprographics. During her 26-year career with the College, she worked in a variety of positions with the Financial Aid Department, Library, ESL Department, and as the switchboard operator. Gaylene will be remembered for her positive attitude and kind personality, which she used to help countless students over the years. Anyone who knew her would have undoubtedly witnessed her beaming with pride at any mention of her children and grandson. Our thoughts are with Gaylene’s family and friends—especially her son, Jesse Harbison, who works in Reprographics.
