The Spring 2017 Student Success Speaker Series continues Wednesday, February 22, from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Deedy Lounge (next to the cafeteria in the Student Services Center) with the workshop "Veterans and the Classroom."
Shannon Kissinger, a policy associate from the nonprofit organization Swords to Plowshares, will present insights into the unique challenges veterans face adapting to the classroom environment and how faculty and staff can be supportive allies.
