The Students for Social Justice will host an inclusive Peace IN event where students will have a safe space to get information about how they can get more civically involved. This event will take place on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students for Social Justice will join forces with other clubs on campus and nonprofit service agencies to provide different channels to express their feelings and get involved with underserved populations and the agencies that provide services to them.
All students, faculty, and members of the community can participate in this Peace IN event. Participation can range from peacefully sitting on the lawn, to visiting with the service animals, to talking with agencies about civic engagement and how to get involved.
