Facilities Master Planning Forums

Faculty, staff, students, and community members are invited to attend upcoming Facilities Master Planning Forums for the Kentfield and Indian Valley Campuses. Broad participation is important as the College moves forward to enhance the educational environment for all who benefit from the many opportunities provided through classes, events, and performances at College of Marin. The forums are open to the public and are free of charge.

Superintendent/President's Fall 2016 Convocation Remarks

Superintendent/President David Wain Coon, Ed.D. addressed faculty, staff, and administrators on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Convocation. These remarks were delivered after the audience viewed a seven-and-a-half minute video chronicling the tragic events that occurred over the summer. Remarks included a call to action requesting that the dialog continue both in and out of the classroom on how we as a College can better understand each other and our students.

Online Writing Center is Open for Business!

As of today, August 22, the Online Writing Center (OWC) is open 24/7 to help students with writing assignments for all college subjects.

Flex Week activities scheduled August 15-19, with College Convocation scheduled on Wednesday, August 17. Continental breakfast begins at 8 a.m.; Convocation begins at 9 a.m. in the James Dunn Theatre.

COM to Host TEDxMarin on September 17

On September 17, at 6 p.m. filming of six new TEDTalks will take place in the James Dunn Theatre, Kentfield Campus Saturday. September 17, 6 p.m. in the James Dunn Theatre. The event will also include a gala attendee reception with light appetizers complimentary wines, a coffee bar, an innovative company showcase in the Fine Arts Gallery, followed by a post-talk dessert reception/meet-and-greet with the speakers in the Performing Arts Lobby.
