On the final day of the exhibit, third graders from Bacich Elementary School kicked off their studies about Marin by taking a walking field trip to see Marin County landscapes painted by George Demont Otis. The students were actively engaged in the presentation and loved their experience on campus. Kudos to Fine Arts Instructor Chris West for curating the wonderful exhibit. There is incredible value to this type of collaboration between the College and local K-12 schools, as it brings young students, parents, and teachers on campus to get a taste of the opportunities higher education holds.
