Some characteristics of College of Marin’s credit student population have changed. For example, in fall 2010 the median age was 29. In fall 2016, it is 25. Additionally, in fall 2010, 17 percent of credit students were Hispanic, compared to 29 percent this fall. Also, students are more likely to be pursuing an associate degree. In fall 2010, 28 percent were here to earn that degree, compared to 39 percent this fall. For more data on COM students, see the Fact Book.
